# Deepdock

> Deepdock opens closed legacy software and runs your workflows and AI agents directly on it. No vendor, no changes to the system, live in days.

Deepdock turns closed legacy systems into REST APIs and MCP servers without changing the system, so automation, AI agents and integrations can reach the software that runs the business.

- For whom: Heads of IT, CIOs and Heads of Digital at wholesale, machinery and logistics companies with 200 to 5,000 employees running a custom or discontinued core system. Also solution providers and AI startups that need access to those systems.
- Next step: A 30-minute call to check whether Deepdock can open your system. https://deepdock.ai/demo
- Provider: Deepdock UG (haftungsbeschränkt), Donaustraße 44, 12043 Berlin, Germany

Unlock every system that runs your business. Deepdock opens closed legacy software and runs your workflows and AI agents directly on it. No vendor, no changes to the system, live in days.

Your people are the integration. The system that runs the business has no API. Asking the vendor takes a year, building it yourself breaks with the next update, and putting people in between costs them every day. So the system stays closed.

We open it from the outside.
1. Connect: Deepdock installs inside your network and observes how the application talks to its database. Nothing is installed on the system, nothing is recompiled, nothing changes for your users.
2. Expose: Every process you choose becomes a documented REST endpoint and an MCP tool, with the same validation the original screens enforce.
3. Automate: Connect your workflows, agents and partner systems. Reads, writes and verification run through one controlled layer with a full audit trail.

One connection. Three ways to use it.
- REST API: Documented endpoints for every process you expose. OpenAPI spec, auth, rate limits, versioning. Your developers use it like any modern service.
- MCP server: The same processes as tools for Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot or your own agents. The agent reads real stock, writes a real order, and the system validates it.
- Workflows: Pre-built flows on top of the endpoints: order intake, invoice matching, master data sync. Fixed price per workflow, running in days.

What changes when the system has an API.
- Integration project. Before: 4 to 6 months, external developers, vendor change request. After: First endpoint in days, no change to the system.
- Order intake. Before: Retyped from email and PDF by two people. After: Written by a workflow, validated by the system, checked by one person.
- AI agents. Before: Answer from exports that are a week old. After: Read and write live data through MCP.
Figures from our automotive deployments, five production systems since 2025. Enterprise case studies are in progress.

Built for companies whose core system is older than their website.
- Wholesale and distribution (Windows client · MS SQL · no API): Orders, stock and prices, out of one closed system. Custom merchandise management on Windows or green screen. Orders, stock and prices locked behind one application.
- Chemicals and process (grown ERP · MS SQL · no API): Orders and certificates of analysis, without retyping. Chemical distributors and producers on grown ERPs. Orders arrive by email and fax, and every certificate of analysis is checked by hand.
- Machinery and manufacturing (grown ERP · PPS · no vendor): Quotes, BOMs and production data, without retyping. Grown ERPs, PPS and quality systems with no vendor left to ask. Quotes, BOMs and production data reachable only by hand.
- Logistics and transport (TMS · WMS · CSV uploads): Partner integrations that no longer run on CSV. TMS and warehouse software from the early 2000s. Partner integrations that still run on CSV uploads and email.
- Construction and trades (Windows client · MS SQL · no API): Supplier invoices posted to the right job. Trades and construction software on Windows clients. Supplier invoices are matched to jobs by hand, and every interface goes through the vendor.
- Utilities (billing system · on-prem · vendor interfaces): Service starts, stops and payments, without retyping. Billing and customer systems at utilities, often reachable only through the vendor. We check case by case whether a system can be opened.

Your data never leaves your network.
- On-premise by default: The Deepdock client runs on a PC in your network, next to the system it opens.
- Read-only until you say otherwise: Write access is enabled per process, with the system's own validation in the loop.
- No changes to the host system: No agents installed on it, no triggers, no recompiled code, no changed settings.
- GDPR, built in Germany: Berlin-based team, German contracts, EU data processing agreement included.

Systems in production: Dealer management systems (Windows client, proprietary database); Workshop and parts systems (Windows client, MS SQL). On request: Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2013 to 2018, Sage 100 (formerly Office Line), Exact Globe+ / Globe Next, enventa Trade ERP, godesys ERP, TimeLine ERP, APplus, FEPA, WinSped. Every system on this list starts with a short assessment. We tell you within a week whether and how it can be opened.
